The Story Behind Fang It
ONCE UPON A TIMELINE...
There lived a little girl who sung songs of Shania Twain all day & night into her hair brush, forcing her Mum, Dad and little brother to sit and watch until the performance was over.
Since then, I've been obsessed with creating joy and good feeling emotions in others. Whether that's through taking the piss out of myself to make someone laugh, singing heart breaking love songs at my favourite jazz club in Melbourne, Australia and making people want to cry (because a good cry once in a while is healthy!) or cranking up loud music and dancing my tits off.
To be totally transparent, I fell into social media by accident through my job and it seeming fun to learn on the side of doing my live music gigs.

I didn’t see the point of it for small businesses at the time. Only in the last few years has social media become a huge part of how businesses stay connected with their customers and attract new ones.
Back then it was just social media. Now, it’s straight-up media.
It's major platform for any brand, whether you’re a person or a business.
What made me stick with it, though, was my love for the performing arts. I’ve always loved making things exciting, larger than life. Social media let me tap into that inner kid who loved playing with a camera, sharing a message, and connecting with people on the other side of the world (still mind-blowing, honestly).
And I’ve always found it easy to hype others up, especially when I genuinely believe in what they’re doing. When the intention behind a business is good, I want people to know about it. I want to help them get seen in their own unique way.
So while this wasn’t on my “what do you want to be when you grow up” list, I’m so glad I landed here early enough to ride the wave and see and know the true value this space brings to good people doing good things.
Yes, the pace of change can be terrifying, but if you’ve got real intentions and you’re building something that helps others? Social media can absolutely work in your favour.
And you deserve to benefit from that.
